Deco Sketchbooks

The big kids have sketchbooks for doodling and creating. We decided we should be inspired by the covers of our books as much as by what is inside of them. So we decoupaged.

The kids chose paper that they loved and we tore and pasted the cover. Their favorite pieces made their initials. Then we finished off with a few layers of modge podge.

I love Christopher's especially; sheet music, maps, blue and camo. A good summary of him right now.

Note: We used a glue stick for Anna's and it worked much better (no bubbling). I wouldn't recommend an Elmers undercoat.
