Woodland Fairy Party: The Food

I love food. I love themes. I love flavorful food. I usually work alone and need to be realistic about what I can make and serve while still hostessing. Combine all that and you get:

Chicken Satays with Peanut Dipping Sauce
Fruit Skewers
Nests of greens with a strawberry egg
Bread sticks

For most of our parties I do EVERYTHING myself and splurge on the cupcakes. Unless I am going for a very simple look, I'm not patient enough with baking projects. It's All About the Cake is my one-stop resource (a-mazing). I asked them to put something together that was woodsies. We settled on an assortment of toadstool (with a caterpillar), pansies and floral strawberry cupcakes. Anna's is always different and this year hers was a butterfly.

I'd say she enjoyed them.
