One of the best things about fall is apple picking. When I was pregnant with Anna we made it back East to see the fall foliage (expectations met!). We also had an amazing time apple picking at a legitimate orchard. We haven't made it back since (busy growing our brood) but we do our best to welcome fall in the same vain.
This weekend we got lucky! We found our new favorite spot for apple and pumpkin picking. The weather turned and it actually seemed liked fall. I simply can't narrow the experience in one post so I'll trickle in a few throughout the week.

We went apple and pumpkin picking too. As a rule, we always go the first weekend of October. They offer a collective group of different family farms that you can visit. All offering something slighly different. My favorite is the homemade pumpkin doughnuts, yummy. The kids like the apple/pumpkin picking and the corn mazes. So much fun, all within a 45 minute drive. Good family times, a tradition worth keeping. Check out the website.

Cute pic! I can't wait to find out where this is. We may have to plan a day for apple picking!
I love the picture of you and your family going to pick apples. So simple and wholesome.
