Folks, we just felt a 5.8 quake strong enough to make us get up and move to a safe spot. I have been planning a 'safety meeting' with the kids for some time and you can bet your bottom dollar that will be happening in our home tonight. Complete with drills and all.

I sure felt it! We were at VBS with 450 kids and 100 volunteers. It was a little crazy.
So glad it was a minor one. As a CA transplant, earthquakes are one thing I do NOT miss.
