Mac vs PC: No Comparison, Right?

Thursday, July 30, 2009
My computer is trying to die on me. After six years and a lot of photo processing I am running on borrowed time. As with most things the timing is forcing our hand. While it's not the biggest purchase we'll ever make it isn't what we had prioritized, nor am I fully versed on the laptop market today. So, I am rolling up my sleeves and digging in and comparing the Macbook to a PC laptop. I'm no techy genius but is there even a comparison? This may be easier than I thought.

If you use a Mac, please share your wisdom and how you've never looked back.

There is no comparison. I have been a die hard Mac person for 8 years now! If you are looking at laptops, they are the most reliable, user friendly and durable machines on the market, in my opinion. And for photo processing, Im not sure if you can beat iphoto and aperture! I am also converted my husband, and we was a tough sell.

PC and Mac aren't even in the same playing field!!! I want to switch over to a Mac SO bad (I may soon). Even though many Windows programs can work on Macs these days, remember that it will take a bit of getting used to (it can throw some people off sometimes). Happy hunting :)

Are you kidding me? Mac has had it ever since I started using them in 1990. You will love your Mac for all it's visual and functional beauty.

Really, ditto everyone else. Please, please! Mac is where it's at. I've used all different types of machines and Mac, Mac, Mac. Never once crashed. Virus-free. Intuitive. As for photos we use Aperture around here. I hear iPhoto has gotten much better at handling large amounts of photos, but Aperture is the best at it. The transition should be pretty intuitive. You seem like a very smart gal. Good Luck with your decision!

Says it all... sorry mac fans. PC's are simply better faster and have a lot more options for software in all departments, wait, is it possible to play a computer game on a mac?
