My biggest boy turns seven this Mother's Day. He is an amazing gift to me and I am grateful for him every day. He's loving and thoughtful with the most adventurous spirit. He's intelligent, artistic and very energetic. He is the most perfect oldest son I could ever dream of.
His enthusiasm for exploring is infectious but it's our quiet "peaceful" moments, as he calls them, that I cherish the most. Those moments we can just be together and talk and consider this or that. I love to see the world through his beautiful eyes.
So I am postponing my Mother's Day celebration (rest!) in honor of him and his special day. May you have a wonderful weekend. Cheers to all the moms.
