The woodland fairy party planning is underway. We made these very simple invitations from sticks and craft paper. We finished the scrolls with a little pixie dust and hand delivered them with much delight.
This is a fun party to plan. I am looking forward to a small, intimate group of crafters. More to come. Stay tuned.

So cute!
That is exactly how I pictured them. Great job.
I made my way to your blog from another one that had posted about a party you hosted. The bicycle party looked so fun! We also LOVE birthday parties and just had a woodland fairy party complete with invitations very much like yours (we took ideas from the pixie party in MS Kids). I hope you have a great time!
Girlfrog: Thanks for stopping by. These invites were so fast and easy. I had to control my urge to do more with them. I really wanted a rustic, imperfect feel.
Think we got that. :)
Pittsy, I was going to email you about the fairies and the houses but I don't see your email address. I got the fairies at a local toy store (they were under $1.00 each) and I bought a fairy house kit that I found online. ( I'm sure you could make the house as well we just bought the kit in the interest of time) If you are interested I can send you the link and some more information about the houses. The children had a lot of fun with them!
I love the rustic, imperfect feel of the invitations...that is just how the fairies prefer them!
