Glitter Pumpkins

In an effort to get on with it and embrace the season, I decided to glitterize my pumpkins. Inspired by the gilded pumpkins here, I opted for a short cut. This is a simple and versatile craft anyone can do.

I started with a few different pumpkins from Michaels. These could be permanently carved or glammed up in a variety of ways. I also stocked up on Martha Stewart glitter and glue (30% off !).

First off I layered the pumpkin with some glue and then went to town with the glitter. I did a onyx layer first and then spot topped it the fire opal. When finished just set the glitter with hair spray.

And there you have a little glitter for your holiday.
